Park View Acupuncture & Chiropractic Clinic started from humble beginnings in 1996 with husband Jan and wife Sarah, chiropractor and acupuncturist respectively. Since then they have grown the business to be an established and very well respected clinic with 5 practitioners.
In 1996 the Mayor, Peter Green, presided over the clinic’s opening ceremony and therefore it seemed fitting that the 2016 Mayor was invited to attend the 20 year celebration.
On Saturday July 16th clients and staff past and present gathered in the garden to celebrate. In his speech the Worthing Mayor, Sean McDonald, admitted to having received successful treatment in the clinic some years back and he praised the fact that he not felt the need come to back since then. The Mayor mingled with the gathered crowd and he helped cut the 20thyear anniversary cake.
On arrival the everyone were given a raffle ticket and more were available to buy in support of Guide Dogs for the Blind. This charity was chosen was chosen because Sarah’s dad has a guide dog and £100 was raised.The top prize of a £100 clinic voucher was won by the immediate past Worthing Mayoress, Linda Williams. Other prizes included of a Royal Rest orthopaedic neck pillow and reflexology vouchers.
Jan Olsen spoke thanking the Mayor for attending and the clients for supporting the clinic over the last two decades. There was also praise for the dedicated team of current and past receptionist and the practise manager, Linda Alexander. Without their hard work the clinic would not be what it is today.
Linda also said a few words conveying compliments and testimonials from clients and staff to Sarah and Jan for making the clinic such a friendly place to attend when help is needed and to work.
